Wherever there is beauty, God's beauty has already been.
In the beginning God created! When God created man, he made him in His own image - as a representative on earth and with characteristics like God. Though we are broken and fail every day since our fall into sin, God is renewing His children in His image.
We have a responsibility to follow God in His creativity. We do this every day through many different endeavors. Though we often think of only artists as creative, our problem solving in our many activities are part of that creative image-bearing God has given us.
Artists in the body of Christ have the privilege and responsibility to lead the way in seeking beauty in our creativity. CPC desires to support the artists in the body of Christ to use their giftedness to create beauty in our broken world.
What We Support
CPC supports a variety of artistic expressions in Lander:
- Fremont Symphony Orchestra (recitals),
- ArtCrawl (International Climbers Festival), guest artists (concerts and worship), visual art show openings, and the
- involvement of our members in arts organizations (CWC Community Band, WyoJazz, Central Wyoming Brass Quintet, etc.).
